FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: method consists in approaching middle ear structures accompanying anthrotomy and posterior tympanotomy, formation of a skin flap which is moved anteriad into a lumen of external auditory canal, creation of cochleostoma and introduction of an active electrode of a cochlear implant into cochlea. It is combined with formation of a cutaneo-osseous flap. At first a vertical notch is created along a border of posterior and superior wall of the external auditory canal to aditus ad antrum, while another vertical notch is created from the fibrous ring of the external auditory canal along a border of posterior and inferior bone walls bottom-up along the whole length. Then the bone adjoining the notches is thinned; residual bone fixations of the flap are broken and moved together with the skin flap.EFFECT: use of the given invention makes it possible to avoid soft tissue prolapse of the posterior wall of acoustic meatus, to reduce a risk of electrode displacement and a risk of skin damages within acoustic meatus and eardrum requiring further repair, to reduce a risk of developing retraction pockets, persistent perforations, cholesteatomas.3 dwg, 1 ex |
