<p>Rollers faced with silicone and having no build lines are produced by wrapping pigment/filler-containing addition-curable silicone rubber strips (2) around a roller substrate (1) followed by curing to an integral silicone layer, wherein build lines (5,6) are prevented by selecting the strips such that physical properties at the edge regions of the strip due to orientation of pigment/filler particles is minimized.</p> |
