<p>A system for adding products directly to the basket of a preferred retailer is disclosed. The system comprises a central server configured to receive an order for a product from a user 201, to select a vendor from a plurality of vendors 203 based on information associated with the vendor, and to add the product to the userâ s online shopping basket or shopping cart at the selected vendor 204. The vendor may be selected based on a userâ s preference and/or their location. The system is particularly adapted to work with adverts for specific products. When the user clicks on an online advert the product is added directly to their basket at their preferred seller. The adverts may be offline printed adverts which include a QR code, e.g. for use with a mobile phone, for automatically adding the product to the userâ s basket. Adverts may include special vouchers or discounts which are automatically passed through to the userâ s basket. The system may store login information associated with the user for one or more stores to enable the products to be added to the userâ s basket. The central server may collect data, e.g. relating to success of particular advertising campaigns.</p> |
