<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mounting structure of a molding part of a weatherstrip capable of easily fitting a pawl in a cutout groove even when there is dispersion in working in the pawl and the cutout groove and never causing corotation in screwing and fixing a screw. <P>SOLUTION: A ring type part 21 integrally formed on a plate 5 mounted on the molding part is furnished with a recessed part 22 a vertical cross-section of which is trapezoidal inside and a hole 23 to pass the screw on the bottom of the recessed part, and cutout grooves 25 are formed with equal intervals in the circumferential direction on a flange part 24 on a head end of the ring type part. In the meantime, an engagement projection 27 integrally formed on a garnish 11 and internally fitted to the ring type part 21 is formed in a trapezoidal shape in a vertical-cross section and formed with pawls 28 vertical cross-sections of which are trapezoidal to fit in the cutout grooves 25 on its outer periphery.
