A stair slide particularly, but not exclusively, for use with the steps of an indoor stairway comprises a slide section 7 having an upper surface upon which, in use, a person or object may slide; and a support section 9 for mounting the slide section 7 on a stairway 3 during use, wherein the stair slide comprises means 27 for permitting the support section 9 to be selectively secured to the slide section 7 in a plurality of positions along the length of the slide section 7. Such an adjustable arrangement allows the stair slide to be used with a range of different designs of stairway. At least one runner section 11 may be run through apertures in each support section 9, thereby providing the stir slide with a greater stability. |
