A system enables switching of electrical devices as in conventional timers using a special datafile format for device and time information so a master unit can control and monitor operations of slave units which may be electrical devices encompassing power, lighting and alarm functions in one unit. Relocation of the programming function to a remote PC keeps the controller simple but exceedingly capable, while the communications allow remote control and monitoring of devices by computer and mobile phone even over the internet. With up to 127 channels and over 2000 operations per day the system offers solutions for small domestic to industrial scale installations. Instantaneous switching between alternative schedules allows an unprecedented level of flexibility. A range of compatible slave device controllers offers features rarely seen on conventional timers such as parameterised switching and alarm/monitor functions. |
