Cosmetic or pharmaceutical agents contain substituted aminopolyorganosiloxanes (SH) with substituted amino groups bonded to the silicon atoms of SH by alkylene or mono- or oligo-(alkyleneamino)-alkylene bridges, the amino groups being substituted by the residue of a surfactive monoalcoholpolyglycolether.. Cosmetic or pharmaceutical agents contain substituted aminopolyorganosiloxanes (SH) with substituted amino groups bonded to the silicon atoms of SH by alkylene or mono- or oligo-(alkyleneamino)-alkylene bridges such that the amino groups are at least partially substituted by a residue of formula (I); have an average ratio of >=1.5 residues of formula (I) per Si- bonded aminoalkylene or amino-mono- or oligo-(alkyleneamino)-alkyl groups; and are optionally at least partially acylated to give amide groups and/or are alkylated, benzylated and/or protonated.
