A merchandising unit (10) for consumer goods comprising: a support unit (12) comprising connecting means for mounting the merchandising unit on a support surface and at least one hinged support arm (20,22) extending from the connecting means and moveable relative to the connecting means between a first position and a second position; and a housing (14) for housing the consumer goods. The housing (14) is mounted on the at least one hinged support arm (20,22) for movement relative to the at least one hinged support arm between a closed position, in which at least some of the consumer goods are not visible, and an open position in which at least some of the consumer goods that are not visible in the closed position are visible.
