PURPOSE: A coke oven is provided to stably keep an opening closed under increased internal pressure of a riser pipe by rotating a cover toward an opening by a weight. CONSTITUTION: A coke oven comprises a riser pipe(10) with an opening(11) on top, a cover(20) which is installed on the riser pipe via a hinge shaft(22) and rotated to open and close the opening, and a weight(25) which provides a load to the cover by moving around the hinge shaft toward the center of mass of the cover according to the rotation of the cover. |
