PURPOSE: A method for planning the layout of multiple bit tips of a hammer bit is provided to uniformly drive multiple bit tips installed on a hammer bit into the ground to be excavated. CONSTITUTION: A method for planning the layout of multiple bit tips of a hammer bit is as follows. The size and position of a hammer bit of an excavation hammer and the size and position of a canister for receiving the hammer bit therein are set. Multiple bit tips are arbitrarily arranged on the set hammer bit. The track of the excavation hammer is planned based on the arbitrarily arranged bit tips. The distribution of bit tip tracks is searched from the track data of the planned bit tips. The positions of the bit tips are changed or the amount of the bit tips is increased or decreased based on the searched results. The processes are repeated.
