A top mattress (1) is disciosed, for use on mattresses or the like, the top mattress including two large surfaces (3) and an edge surface (2) connecting the large surfaces, and wherein the top mattress is provided with two zipper sides (4) along a longitudinal side of the edge surface (2). The zipper side of a first top mattress fits the zipper side of a second top mattress, so that they may be joined forming a continuous large surface (3) spanning the two top mattresses.
