PURPOSE: A method for building a database by using a data warehouse and a system thereof are provided to reduce the possibility of errors by excluding an overlap when making a data mart. CONSTITUTION: An ODS(Operational Data Store)(110) processes source data. A DW(Data Warehouse)(120) integrates data of the ODS and generates a reference relationship between data having correlations. A business logic(130) manages business rules for analysis. A data mart(140) forms the data of the ODS or the DW into a multi-dimension model based on one of the business rules. The DW includes a summary table formed based on the data mart according to each analysis subject.
