PURPOSE: A wastewater treatment apparatus with precipitating baffles using microorganism carriers is provided to improve the efficiency of treatment by easily forming an anaerobic aeration precipitating bath. CONSTITUTION: A wastewater treatment apparatus includes a water collecting bath(101), a chemical coagulation reactor, a first precipitating bath, an aeration bath(104), a second precipitating bath, and a dehydrating unit. The chemical coagulation reactor reacts wastewater from the water collecting bath with chemical to be coagulated. Supernatant is transferred from the first precipitating bath to the aeration bath to be digested and cultivated/propagated by aerobic microorganisms. Pollutants absorbed by active sludge generated from the aeration bath are precipitated to be removed. One or more precipitating baffles(115) are installed at the water collecting bath or the aeration bath using lock mat type microorganisms carriers(110). |
