PURPOSE: A back light unit and a liquid crystal display device using the same are provided to improve the fixing structure of a flexible printed circuit board having light sources by using a fixing tape and to prevent light leakage. CONSTITUTION: A light source fixing unit(41) has light sources(40). The light source fixing unit is fixed to a part of the rear side of a panel guide(90). A diffusing plate(70) changes the direction of the light of each light source to the front side. A fixing tape(41a) is adhered to the front side of the light source fixing unit with a bridge shape. The fixing tape surrounds light sources. A part of the front side of the light source fixing unit is adhered to a part of the of each rear side of the diffusing plate and the panel guide by the fixing tape. |
