PURPOSE: A water injection type vapor compressor is provided to accurately detect the absorbing amount of absorbed vapor and the temperature of supply water thereby being capable of reduction of the mount of injecting vapor. CONSTITUTION: A water injection type vapor compressor(1) comprise a volumetric compressor(2), a suction pipe(6), a exhaust pipe(7), a drain separation unit(9), a water supply unit(4), and a thermometer for supplying water(18). The volumetric compressor compresses vapor and discharges the vapor. The suction pipe and the exhaust pipe are connected to the compressor. The drain separation unit is installed in the suction pipe. The water supply unit sprays supplying water toward downstream than the drain separation unit and the compression space inside the compressor. The thermometer for supply water detects the temperature of supply water.
