PURPOSE: A light guide plate, a surface-emitting light source device and transmissive video display device are provided to improve the luminance in the front direction by forming multiple prism units in one surface. CONSTITUTION: A transmissive video display device(10) includes a transmissive video display unit(20), a surface-emitting light source unit(30), and a prism plate(40). A plane body has the first surface, the second surface, and an incident surface. The first surface is dispose on the prism plate. The second surface is opposed to the first surface. The incident surface intersects with the first and the second surfaces. The incident surface receives light. The multiple lens units is disposed on the second surface. The multiple lens units protrude to the side opposed to the first surface.
