Exhaust gas recirculation valve for an internal combustion engine, comprising: - a rotary actuator (1) designed to turn a pinion (9); - a valve subassembly (7) comprising an input wheel (8), a valve element (2) and a movement conversion device designed to convert the rotation of the input wheel (8) into a translational movement of the valve element (2); - a transmission wheel (11) meshing, on the one hand, with the pinion (9) and, on the other hand, with the input wheel (8). The valve further comprises a support plate (3) in which there are a first opening (14), in which the rotary actuator (1) is located, and a second opening (15) in which the valve subassembly (7) is located, a projecting shaft (13) being attached to the support plate (3), and the transmission wheel (11) being mounted for rotation on the projecting shaft (13). |
