Exhaust duct system of internal combustion engine, has valves for switching on and off return lines provided from exhaust gas receiver to air receiver and from turbine to air receiver

The exhaust duct system has exhaust-gas recirculation lines for recirculating flue gases through a pump to inlet side of engine. A return line (A) is provided from exhaust gas receiver (ER) of engine to air receiver (AR), and a return line (B) is provided in the output of turbine of high-pressure exhaust-gas turbocharger to air receiver. A feedback line (C) is provided from output of turbine to air receiver, and a feedback line (D) is lead to the ambient air receiver. The return lines are switched on and off by the valves (V1-V4). An independent claim is included for method for operating loaded internal combustion engine.
