<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify a therapeutic agent with ability to influence RAMP (Receptor Activity Modifying Protein)-CRLR(Calcitonin Receptor Like Receptor) interaction. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention relates to an agent which modulates the effect of RAMP protein (protein for modulating receptor activity) on a calcitonin receptor like receptor (CRLR). The present invention includes a method and use of such an agent and an assay method for identifying such an agent.
