<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary tool for lighting device that can produce excellent appearance by the shadow of light and a lighting device having the auxiliary tool for lighting device. <P>SOLUTION: The installation hole is formed in such a size that, when the lighting device 10 is inserted into the installation hole from a base 14 direction, the base 14 side of the lighting device 10 can pass through the installation hole, but the light guide member 16 side cannot pass through it, therefor, a part of the lighting device 10 is caught by the installation hole when it passes through the installation hole, and the installation hole and the lighting device 10 are engaged. By this manner, the auxiliary tool for lighting device 20 can be easily fixed to the lighting device 10.
