<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space-saving and high-efficiency induction heating fixing device that exhibits high-response demagnetization function, and to provide an image forming device including the same. <P>SOLUTION: The fixing device includes a fixing rotating body 3 having a rotatable non-magnetic heat generation layer 301, and an exciting coil 2 that generates a magnetic flux to induction-heat the heat generation layer. The thickness of the heat generation layer is set to be equal to or less than a penetration depth so that a magnetic flux J1 generated from the exciting coil 2 passes through the fixing rotating body. The fixing device includes: a magnetic flux adjusting mechanism 5 arranged in a position opposite the exciting coil in the fixing rotating body to generate a repulsive magnetic flux J2 that cancels an excitation magnetic flux; a magnetic path forming member 6 that regulates transmission of the magnetic flux J1 that passes through the magnetic flux adjusting mechanism 5 using a magnetic shunt alloy; and a demagnetization member 7 arranged on a side opposite the heat generation layer of the magnetic path forming member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
