<p>[Problem] To provide a lens array and optical module that can efficiently obtain monitor light and allow increased miniaturization and more channels. [Solution] Light from each of a plurality of rows of light-emitting elements (8) is incident upon a plurality of rows of first lens surfaces (11) on a first plate-shaped part (3a), undergoes total internal reflection at a second prism surface (15b), and is split by a reflection/transmission layer (17) on a third prism surface (15c) such that some of said light heads towards a plurality of rows of second lens surfaces (12) on a second plate-shaped part (3b) and some heads towards a plurality of rows of third lens surfaces (13) on the first plate-shaped part (3a). The light from each row of light-emitting elements (8) that is transmitted towards the second lens surfaces (12) is outputted by said second lens surfaces (12) towards end faces (6a) of optical transmission bodies (6), and the monitor light from each row of light-emitting elements (8) that is reflected towards the third lens surfaces (13) is outputted by said third lens surfaces (13) towards rows of light-receiving elements (9).</p> |
