<p>A display device (100) is provided with a display panel (1) having a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix form containing a plurality of rows and a plurality of columns and an image separation element (2) disposed on the viewer side of the display panel (1). The plurality of pixels of the display panel (1) include at least a first pixel (R1, G1, B1) for displaying an image for a first viewpoint and a second pixel (R2, G2, B2) for displaying an image for a second viewpoint. The image separation element (2) separates display light output from the first pixel (R1, G1, B1) and display light output from the second pixel (R2, G2, B2). Each of the plurality of pixels contains a first subpixel (Sp1) and a second subpixel (Sp2) the positions of which are different in the column direction. The positions of the first subpixel (Sp1) and the second subpixel (Sp2) are also different in the row direction.</p> |
