<p>The invention relates to the field of wind power engineering. The electric generator for a wind energy installation comprises an outer stator consisting of a laminated magnetic core and an inner stator, said inner stator being arranged inside the outer stator and being mounted concentrically in relation to the outer stator, as well as an annular rotor, which is arranged in the gap between the stators, wherein poles consisting of anisotropic electrical steel with a high magnetic permeability and having a bevelled shape are formed on the outer stator with a salient-pole design, and a three-phase winding consisting of copper is laid in said poles, the rotor winding is a squirrel-cage winding and is laid in the gaps in the magnetic core with a high magnetic permeance, the inner stator acts as the magnetic core of the field of the outer stator, and a nonmagnetic gap between the outer stator and the rotor and between the rotor and the inner stator is 3 mm.</p> |
