<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device that suppresses a cost increase by using an auxiliary power unit having a small power storage capacity for supplying power as a substitute when power supply from a main power source device is interrupted, and facilitates resumption of printing when power supply from the main power source device is restored. <P>SOLUTION: When interruption of power supply from a main power source device 6 is detected by a power supply interruption detection part 3, a control part 2 switches power supply from the main power source device 6 to an auxiliary power unit 7 by a switching part 4, discontinues printing processing in operation, and stores image data that has not completely been printed and progress information on an imaging progress state into a nonvolatile storage part 5.
