<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a height adjustment mechanism of a fixing unit, which allows a user to easily adjust the height of the fixing unit. <P>SOLUTION: In the height adjustment mechanism of a fixing unit, unit-side positioning parts provided in both sides and positioning ribs (body-side positioning members) 31 formed on facing inner walls of the image forming device body are engaged with each other to adjust the position in a height direction. The height adjustment mechanism includes a hight adjusting member 37 that supports the positioning rib 31 by a support member 36 so as to vertically move, and slides in a mounting direction of the fixing unit. Protrusions 36a formed in the support member 36 are selectively engaged with a plurality of recesses 37a having different height and formed in the height adjusting member 37, and the height adjusting member 37 is slid by a manual operation externally from the image forming device body to adjust the height of the fixing unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
