<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hinge opening and closing type packaging box having side walls with changed heights by allowing to use blanks punched out by one punching die for either one of a box body and a lid body, using blanks punched out by a plurality of punching dies with changed side wall heights, and combining the box body with the lid body, or to provide a hinge opening and closing type packaging box which can be made by blanks in which a box body and a lid body are punched out by the same punching die. <P>SOLUTION: The hinge opening and closing type packaging box 100 includes the box body 1, an inner member 2 in contact with the inner sides of the side walls 11, 11a of the box body and having an inner side peripheral wall 21 which is higher than the side walls of the box body, and the lid body 30 in contact with the box body and having side walls 31, 31a in contact with the outer sides of the inner side peripheral walls of the inner members. At one side wall ends of the box body and the lid body, engaging pieces 12, 32 and slits are provided, respectively. The engaging piece of the box body is locked with the slit of the lid body and the engaging piece of the lid body is locked with the slit of the box body to openably connect the box body and the lid body.
