<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for purifying selenium containing a minute amount of tellurium by a wet process. <P>SOLUTION: The method for purifying selenium includes: a process 1 of subjecting raw selenium containing 0.1-30 mass% of Te and 70-99.9 mass% of Se to oxidation elution in an acidic aqueous solution with the oxidation-reduction potential, vs. Ag/AgCl, adjusted to 570-600 mV, and obtaining an eluted solution containing Se by solid/liquid separation; and a process 2 of blowing a reducing gas into the eluted solution obtained in the process 1 to make Se reduction-precipitate, and obtaining purified selenium by solid/liquid separation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
