<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shelter room for countermeasure against tsunami, flood tide, and flooding. <P>SOLUTION: A shelter room 1 is provided with a hatch 2 at an entrance, is formed as a sealed structure, prevents water immersion due to water pressure, is fixedly installed, and does not float by utilizing that its fixation weight is larger than its buoyancy even if it is submerged. The shelter room is a cylindrical or box-shaped structure, bears water pressure, is fixed to a wall of a heavy and robust building such as a reinforced concrete building or to a tower of steel pipe structure having large pull-out resistance, or is constructed integrally with a building wall to effectively utilize the weight, robustness, and height of a nearby building, complements lack of a roof floor height, and is constructed with a hollow double wall to serve as an earthquake strengthening structure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
