<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for a display element, which is excellent in gas barrier property, flexibility, heat resistance, transparency, dimensional stability, operability, and secondary processability. <P>SOLUTION: A substrate for a display element includes a resin layer arranged on both sides of an inorganic glass layer, has a total thickness of 150 μm or less, and has a breaking diameter of 30 mm or less when the substrate for a display element is bent. A ratio d<SB POS="POST">rsum</SB>/d<SB POS="POST">g</SB>of the total thickness d<SB POS="POST">rsum</SB>of the resin layers to the thickness d<SB POS="POST">g</SB>of the inorganic glass layer is 0.5 to 2.1, and the inorganic glass layer has a thickness d<SB POS="POST">g</SB>of 25 μm to 50 μm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
