<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical device in which characteristic deterioration of an electrochemical cell due to corrosion of a collector, decomposition of an electrolyte solvent, and the like which are caused by hydrogen fluoride generated by decomposition of an electrolyte is suppressed. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention provides the electrochemical device using an electrolytic solution containing a nonaqueous solvent, an electrolyte, and a compound represented by formula 1 or 2.
