<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric conversion element with excellent productivity capable of securing a large power generation amount per area without problems such as toxicity and integrally firing a laminate, in which a p-type metal thermoelectric conversion material and an n-type oxide thermoelectric conversion material are jointed via an insulation material, and a manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: In a thermoelectric conversion element 30, a pair of entire faces opposed to each other of a p-type metal thermoelectric conversion material 21 and an n-type oxide thermoelectric conversion material 22 is jointed via an insulation material 23, and the p-type metal thermoelectric conversion material and the n-type oxide thermoelectric conversion material adjacent to each other are jointed to each other by an electrode material provided at an end, so as to form a pn junction pair 20. The plural pn junction pairs are serially connected to each other. The n-type oxide thermoelectric conversion material is contained in the p-type metal thermoelectric conversion material. A ratio of the n-type oxide thermoelectric conversion material contained in the p-type metal thermoelectric conversion material is in a range of 5 to 50 wt.%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
