RADIOACTIVE ORGANIC IODINE REMOVAL FILTER AND RADIOACTIVE ORGANIC IODINE REMOVAL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radioactive organic iodine removal filter which is capable of surely removing radioactive organic iodine contained in air within a sealed internal space of a construction in which flowing of air is reduced.

SOLUTION: A radioactive organic iodine removal filter 10A is made of active carbon fibers collecting radioactive organic iodine and according to a passive approach where the filter is left for a predetermined time in a sealed internal space in which air flowing is reduced in a predetermined construction, the filter gradually removes radioactive organic iodine of which the concentration is made uniform by air convection in the internal space.
