<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a height-variable anti-tsunami construction which is available as a facility such as a sightseeing tower or a tennis court, in which the space on the ground can be effectively utilized as a market or a parking lot and further, which can be utilized as an evacuation place if tsunami or flood occurs by holding the construction during a normal time while hanging it at a height around 5 m from the ground. <P>SOLUTION: A height-variable anti-tsunami construction comprises at least an erected strut 1, a construction 2 vertically movable along the strut 1, a seismic isolation device 3 mounted to the construction 2 between the construction 2 and the strut 1, and vertical moving means 5 for vertically moving the construction 2. Furthermore, one strut 1 is erected in the center of the construction 2 throughout the construction 2, and the seismic isolation device 3 can also be mounted between the vertically movable construction 2 and the strut 1, and it is preferable to mount, via the seismic isolation device 3, a slide member having a slider that slides along the strut 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
