<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an impact absorption type building with a new structure which can float on the water when a house is flooded by tsunami waves and flood while absorbing collision energy with other objects. <P>SOLUTION: An impact absorption type building comprises a foundation 14 laid on a ground 12 and a house main body 16 to be placed on the foundation 14, and the house main body 16 is configured to be separated from the foundation 14 by the buoyancy caused when the house main body 16 is flooded. Also the house main body 16 comprises impact absorption areas 48, 50, 52 and 54 which absorb collision energy by being broken due to the load applied at the time of collision with other objects and a safe area 56 which has a structure with higher rigidity than the impact absorption areas 48, 50, 52 and 54. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
