<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a hydrophilic minute uneven surface excellent in durability on a surface of a structural material in a short time. <P>SOLUTION: A surface modifying method for the structural material 7 is for forming the hydrophilic minute uneven surface to the surface of the structural material by continuously irradiating the surface of the structural material 7 with an electron beam 5 at a given irradiation pitch, wherein the ratio of an irradiation current/an irradiation frequency of the electron beam 5 is 0.015-0.08. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
