<p>Disclosed are a paging processing method, mobility management network element and user equipment for circuit switched fallback, belonging to the field of communications. In the embodiments of the present invention, after an MME resets and reboots, UE is notified of the information that the MME has reset and reboot when initiating circuit switched fallback. After learning that the MME has reset and reboot, the UE reselects a 2G/3G cell as soon as possible to complete the paging process. The method, on the one hand, reduces the CSFB processing time delay due to the reset and reboot of the MME and accelerates the processing of a downlink voice call, and, on the other hand, ensures that the UE reinitiates a combined attachment flow to avoid possible error operations after returning to the E-UTRAN since the UE clears the stored PS domain context information after learning that the MME has reset and reboot.</p> |
