<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup which corrects a change in emission light intensity from an object lens produced by spherical aberration correction to each information recording surface of a multilayer disk. <P>SOLUTION: Spherical aberration correction means (a collimate lens 105, lens moving means 119) corrects spherical aberration corresponding to a position on an information recording surface 114 of an optical disk 113. A transmittance variable element 110 as light intensity correction means corrects a change in emission light intensity from an object lens 112 accompanying spherical aberration correction of the spherical aberration correction means. A pickup control circuit 121 controls transmittance of the transmittance variable element 110 according to a position of the information recording surface 114 or a moving amount of the collimate lens 105. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
