<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power conversion apparatus which can output the input AC powers received, respectively, from multi-phase power supplies, while converting into multi-phase output AC powers, to a load and can output the input AC voltages received, respectively, from the multi-phase power supplies, while boosting, to a load. <P>SOLUTION: In the power conversion apparatus 101, an MC(matrix converter) 1 outputs the input AC powers received, respectively, from multi-phase power supplies Pa, Pb, Pc, while converting into multi-phase output AC powers, to a load. Based on a load AC current supplied from the MC 1 to a load, a control unit 4 calculates the input voltage phase, i.e. the phase difference between a power supply AC voltage being output from the multi-phase power supplies Pa, Pb, Pc to the MC 1 and an input AC voltage received by the MC 1 from the multi-phase power supplies Pa, Pb, Pc, and controls the MC 1 based on the input voltage phase thus calculated so as to perform step-up operation for outputting the input AC voltage, while boosting, to a load. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
