<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve reduction in the number of power supply circuits and current detection circuits, and reduction of a circuit mounting area. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device includes a primary transfer pad 40 for transferring a toner image, a secondary transfer roller 10, an ICL brush 50 for cleaning toner remained on an intermediate transfer belt 9, an ICL roller 39, a CPU 85 for controlling image formation, power supplies Vt1b and Vt2r for applying voltages, and current detection circuits 81g and 81h for detecting currents flowing in the power supplies. The power supplies Vt1b and Vt2r are common power supplies that apply voltages to the primary transfer pad 40, the secondary transfer roller 10, the ICL brush 50, and the ICL roller 39.
