<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guy wire guard that ensures safety by reducing injury and a breakage accident of a person and a vehicle by preventing a support plate portion and a locking fixture from projecting outward from an outer peripheral surface of a guy wire guard body as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a guy wire guard in which flat surfaces 4a and 16 are formed across a split groove 3 on each of outer peripheral surfaces 21 of respective pipe units 2a to 2d, and support plate portions 5a and 5b are projectingly provided on the flat surfaces across the split groove, respectively, and engaging holes 6 facing both support plate portions are also opened, and the split groove is closed by engaging both the engaging holes with a locking fixture 18, and the locking fixture is formed in a plate shape, and is projectingly provided with a pair of claw portions 19, which have a height dimension from the one side surface gradually increasing as approaching to each other, and pinch both the support plate portions from the outside when being engaged with both the engaging holes, at both edge portions on one side surface 18a, and in a state where the locking fixture is inserted into both the engaging holes and is engaged with both the claw portions, both the support plate portions and both the claw portions of the locking fixture are positioned inside an outer contour where the respective pipe units are projected along a central axis line direction. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
