<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-off valve, in which an opening and closing state of the valve is visible on a side face thereof in various directions. <P>SOLUTION: The on-off valve 20 with an aperture indication function includes a handle 100 and an aperture indication mechanism 102. The aperture indication mechanism 102 is housed inside the handle 100. The handle 100 has a plurality of observation windows 130. The aperture indication mechanism 102 includes an aperture indication member 120 and a drive gear unit 122. The aperture indication member 120 is disposed between a valve rod 28 and the observation windows 130. The aperture indication member 120 rotates around the valve rod 28. The aperture indication member 120 displays information visible from the outside of the observation windows 130.
