<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily create a program without being aware of the difference whether the processing is batch type or real-time type. <P>SOLUTION: An automatic determination device includes a processing of each of batch processing or real-time processing of input data, and has a storage part for storing components whose processing type, namely batch or real-time processing, is unspecified. The automatic determination device accepts a flow definition described with at least components stored in the storage part and input/output data as elements. Then, the automatic determination device retrieves an element whose processing type is defined from the elements described before and after the component whose processing type described in the accepted flow definition is undefined.
