END SURFACE-POLISHING BRUSH, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING GLASS SUBSTRATE FOR MAGNETIC RECORDING MEDIUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end surface-polishing brush that evenly and stably polishes an inner peripheral chamfering part and an inner peripheral side surface without using an end surface-polishing device with a complicated configuration.

SOLUTION: The end surface-polishing brush is configured to polish an inner peripheral end surface of a glass substrate for a magnetic recording medium having a circular hole in the center part thereof. The end surface-polishing brush 12 is implanted with brush bristles 13 in a shaft 14 that has the maximum deflection amount of 420 μm or less when being subjected to the load of 19.6 N.
