<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeder capable of miniaturizing the feeder with a simple constitution, and capable of easily expanding the cassette size. <P>SOLUTION: A paper feeding cassette 81 includes a base cassette 82 having an opening part 82c on the upstream side in the paper feeding direction D1, a slide cassette 71 slidably installed in the base cassette 82, a rear end regulating member 33 of an upper surface of the slide cassette 71, and a first fixing part 91 for positioning and fixing the slide cassette 71 in a first position I being a storage position. The first fixing part 91 includes a support part 76 projecting in the width direction of the slide cassette 71, an operation button 72 arranged on the tip side of the support part 76, and a through-hole 73 formed in the vicinity of the opening part 82c of the base cassette 82. When the slide cassette 71 exists in the first position I, the operation button 72 engages with the through-hole 73, and when the slide cassette 71 exists in a second position II, the operation button 72 separates from the base cassette 82. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
