<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tablet inspection device that can flexibly and smoothly respond to the change of tablets and significantly improve inspection accuracy, and to provide a ptp packaging machine. <P>SOLUTION: A tablet inspection device 21 includes a lighting device 22 that irradiates a tablet housed in a pocket of a container film with light; a camera 23 that can image a tablet in a range irradiated with light; and an image processing device 24 that can process an image signal output from the camera 23. The image processing device 24 extracts a contour of the tablet on the basis of the image data, calculates direction information of a tangent of first and second predetermined points on the contour, calculates direction information of a tangent of a third predetermined point existing between the first and second predetermined points, and determines the third predetermined point as a defective candidate when the tangent direction information of the third predetermined point deviates from an allowable range based on the respective pieces of tangent direction information of the first and second predetermined points. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
