<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine normally restored after power interruption, when only power interruption due to instantaneous interruption is detected. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine includes: a memory for holding game information using a backup power source, when power interruption is caused; a game control microcomputer; a first reset unit for supervising supply voltage and outputting a reset signal to the game control microcomputer; and a second reset unit for resetting the game control microcomputer when a time is up on a reset timer. The game machine is configured to perform: power interruption processing for storing a power interruption flag representing the generation of power interruption in a memory on the basis of a power interruption detecting signal outputted from a power source device when a supply voltage is reduced, and for waiting until power source interruption; and power-on processing keeping on holding the game information in the memory when a power interruption flag stored in the memory is referred to and has a predetermined value, and initializing the memory when the power interruption flag has a value other than the predetermined value.
