#CMT# #/CMT# The X-ray detector has a scintillator (14) for converting an X-ray radiation into light. An active matrix (15) with pixel elements (13) is arranged below the scintillator. Each pixel element has a photodiode (10) with a photosensitive photodiode area and a switching element. The surface of the pixel element is provided with light-sensitive photodiode areas and light-insensitive areas.
