<p>A cooling member formed in such a manner that, in order that the reliability and physical strength of a refrigerant introducing pipe are not impaired, the surface of the refrigerant introducing pipe is not excessively pressed by external corners of a punch, a method of manufacturing the cooling member, and a device for manufacturing the cooling member are provided. A cooling member configured in such a manner that the dimension and direction of a refrigerant introducing pipe projecting from a heat transfer member are finished at high accuracy, a method of manufacturing the cooling member, and a device for manufacturing the cooling member are also provided. A cooling member is constructed by forming a groove (11) in a heat transfer member (9) which have edges (15, 15) which are the longitudinal limits of the groove (11) and fitting under pressure a refrigerant introducing pipe (17) into the groove (11). A pressing surface (5) of a punch (7) having at ends thereof external corners (3) formed in curved surface shape and also having the pressing surface (5) adjacent to the external corners (3) is caused to face the groove (11), the external corners (3) of the punch (7) are positioned longitudinally inward from the edges (15, 15) of the heat transfer member (9), and the punch (7) is advanced toward the groove (11) to cause the pressing surface (5) to press the refrigerant introducing pipe (17) to the groove (11).</p> |
