<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminate battery with better cooling performance than conventional laminate batteries. <P>SOLUTION: A laminate battery 1 includes: a cell laminate body 12 having a plurality of battery cells 10 laminated one on another; end plates 14 and 16 respectively disposed on both end parts of the cell laminate body 12; and cooling plates 18 and 20 having side surface coolant passages (36a and 36b) formed in a cell laminating direction. End surface coolant passages (28a and 28b) are formed in the end plate 14.
